• Founder and former chair of the Hypermedia SIG within the Association for the Development of Computer-Based Instructional Systems (ADCIS)
• Have acted as a reviewer for the National Science Foundation, Addison Wesley Publishing, John Wiley & Sons, Harper Collins, University Video Communications, The International Journal of Man-Machine Studies, The International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics, IEEE Expert, the International Journal of Human Factors in Manufacturing, and a variety of other organizations and publications.
